J.R. & the Stingrays are a Boise-based oldies rock and roll band established in 1985, performing a Sha-Na-Na style show with a vintage American Graffiti-era flair. They play tunes from Bill Haley & the Comets, The Drifters, the Beatles, Elvis and more. The show is in the Sapphire Room at The Riverside Hotel, 2900 W Chinden Blvd, on Tuesday, December 8.
