Delete your data

Last updated November 4, 2026. Covers the Go Rogue365 app, the website and, if a business has connected one, an Instagram account.

Short version: you can delete your app account yourself in the app, in a minute, and it is removed right away. You can also delete the anonymous record kept for your phone. If you can’t get into the app, email us. If a business has connected Instagram, it can disconnect in one tap. This page explains each way and exactly what is deleted and what is kept.

A. Delete your app account (in the app)

Open the app, go to the More tab, choose Manage account, then Delete my account, and enter your password to confirm. Deleting your account is immediate and cannot be undone. It removes your sign-in record, your sign-in sessions, your Favorites (saved events, happy hours and places), your notification settings, any phones registered to your account, and your reminder records. It also deletes this phone’s anonymous device record (see D). Your phone is signed out and its local copy of your Favorites is cleared. Any sign-in still open on another device stops working. You need your password; if you forgot it, use Forgot your password in the app first, or use way B.

B. If you can’t use the app

Email hello@gorogue365.com from the address on the account and say you want it deleted. For your safety we reply to that address and delete the account once you confirm. We will confirm by email when it is done, and in any case within 30 days of your confirmation.

C. The website

The website has no customer accounts; customer accounts exist only in the app. On the website you can unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email, or email hello@gorogue365.com to have your newsletter signup, business account or submissions deleted.

D. The anonymous device record

If you saved events or places without an account, the app made an anonymous record (see the Privacy Policy, 3d). It is not linked to your name or email. To delete it, open the app, go to the More tab and tap Delete this phone’s data. That removes this phone’s anonymous record, including the saved items synced for the phone, from our servers, and, if no one is signed in on the phone, clears the saved items stored on the phone. Deleting the app from your phone alone does not remove this record from our server, so use the button first.

The record is also deleted for you when you sign in and when you delete your account in the app. Signing in first merges what is saved on the phone with your account, so nothing is lost, and then deletes the phone’s anonymous record.

E. Reminders and alerts on your phone

Reminders and “Alerts near me” settings and history are stored on your phone only and are removed when you delete the app. You can turn them off any time in the app or in iPhone Settings. We do not receive your location.

F. For businesses: disconnecting Instagram (only if you connected one)

Go Rogue365 does not currently connect to Instagram accounts, so for almost everyone there is nothing to delete here. If a business has connected an Instagram account to Go Rogue365, this section explains what we hold and how to remove it.

What we hold when a business has connected Instagram

  • An access token that lets us read your account’s posts (kept encrypted), the account’s Instagram name and ID, and when you connected.
  • The posts we have read: caption, link, date and type, and a picture copy only if you chose to let us show your post pictures.
  • Event suggestions made from those posts that are still waiting for a person to review.

Way 1: disconnect in your dashboard. Log in to your business dashboard, open Instagram, and choose Disconnect Instagram. We stop reading your account right away and delete the access token, the saved post content and any picture copies, and we discard the event suggestions that were still waiting. You can then also choose Delete everything from Instagram, which also removes the connection record itself and shows you a confirmation code.

Way 2: remove Go Rogue365 inside Instagram. In Instagram, go to Settings, then Apps and websites (the wording may vary), and remove Go Rogue365. Instagram tells us, and we run the same deletion as “Disconnect Instagram.”

Way 3: ask Meta or ask us. If you send a data deletion request through Meta (Facebook or Instagram), Meta passes it to us and we delete the data described above, then give you a confirmation code and a link to this page so you can see the request was completed. You can also email hello@gorogue365.com with your business’s name and the Instagram account name. We will confirm by email and complete the deletion promptly, and in any case within 30 days.

G. What is not deleted, and why

  • Events that were already published on Go Rogue365 are your venue’s own public event listings, so they stay up unless you ask us to remove them (you can hide or remove them in the dashboard, or email us).
  • If an Instagram account was connected, our basic records that the connection existed and was deleted (dates and counts only, never your content) are kept so we can show we honored the request.
  • The sign-up safety log (a scrambled version of an email and IP address, the time and the decision) is kept for 90 days and then deleted, to stop abuse.
  • Backups: our database provider keeps a short rolling history (currently 6 hours), and we make dated backup copies before system changes. Deleted data can remain in them, but backups roll off within 90 days.
  • Ordinary request logs at our host, kept only for a short period and never longer than 90 days.
  • Counts with no personal data (for example, how many devices saved an event).
  • Information you gave us in other ways, such as a business account, a newsletter signup or an event submission, is separate; to delete that too, email us and say so.

H. How long it takes

Deleting your account in the app, or deleting this phone’s data in the app, takes effect at once. Requests by email: we confirm it is you, then delete promptly and within 30 days. Requests through Meta: promptly and within 30 days.
